WorkingWell has qualified and experienced counsellors across Australia.

All our WorkingWell Counsellors:

  • Are all tertiary qualified
  • Are approved as Family and Child Counsellors by the Attorney General Department under the Family Law Act
  • Receive regular professional supervision and training
  • Hold Suitability Cards for Working with Children issued by the Commission for Children and Young People

Counsellor Profiles

  • Campbell

    Campbell is an experienced counsellor with a Diploma in Counselling and extensive training as a Family Therapist for over 30 years, with a focus on rural and remote communities.

    Campbell utilises a solution focused approach in his counselling sessions in supporting clients to move from past traumas, to develop their own strengths, take responsibility for their decisions so that they can move towards more positive outcomes.

    He is located at CatholicCare’s Gladstone office for face-to-face appointments and takes sessions via phone call and virtually.

    Campbell is available for appointments Monday through Friday.

  • Neil

    Neil is a registered Psychologist with nearly 40 years in the human services field. He commenced employment at CatholicCare in 1998.

    During his time, Neil has worked with countless clients across all genders and age groups as well as with the indigenous community. This includes a decade of child protection work for the State Government as well as a part-time private practice.

    He takes Better Access referrals from GPs for patients with Mental Health Care Plans. These services are currently not bulk-billed, except for those under 18 years of age. He is also a registered service provider with Workcover and NDIS and is qualified to provide professional supervision services. He has an interest in working with neurodiverse clients.

    Neil has a mixed cultural background and speaks German fluently. He has a flexible spiritual approach and can work effectively with a diverse range of faiths and cultures.

    Neil is based at our Bundaberg office for face-to-face appointments and conducts sessions via phone calls and video conferencing.

    He is available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

  • Giovanna

    Giovana has over four years counselling experience and has been a counsellor at CatholicCare for 18 months. Giovana holds a Masters Degree in Social Work, Certificate IV in Human Resources and a Bachelor in Legal and Social Sciences.

    Giovanna specialises in family and relationship counselling, as well as counselling children using Expressive Therapies counselling approaches.

    Giovanna is based at our Yeppoon office for face-to-face appointments and conducts sessions via phone calls and video conferencing. Giovanna will be commencing maternity leave mid-April 2025, with Andrew King covering this space in Yeppoon for 12 months until Giovanna’s return.

    Giovanna is available for appointments Monday through Thursday, and every second Friday.

  • Catherine

    Catherine has a decade of experience in trauma counselling, specialising in sexual assault and abuse counselling.

    Catherine holds a Master of Social Work, Master of Narrative Therapy ad Community Work and a Bachelor of Applied Science specialising in Counselling.

    Catherine is multilingual, which has proved essential in CatholicCare’s work with culturally and linguistically diverse clients.

    She is based at our Bundaberg office for face-to-face appointments and conducts sessions via phone calls and video conferencing.

  • Prabha

    Prabha has a wide range of counselling experience working with individuals, couples, children and adolescents over a decade. She holds a Master of Clinical Counselling.

    She has a special interest in working with couples and supporting individuals through major life changes.

    Prabha can provide faith-based interventions that incorporate views from Christian and Buddhist traditions, as well as non-religious mindfulness meditation and yoga practices.

    Prabha is based at our Mackay office for face-to-face appointments and conducts sessions via phone calls and video conferencing.

    Prabha speaks Tamil, Hindi, and English.

    Prabha is available for appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
